Coastal Cleanup Day

WHAT: Help protect the South Bay’s iconic beaches by joining Heal the Bay in a community beach cleanup!

Community Movie Night: “Monsters University”

WHAT: Watch a back to school themed showing of Pixar’s Monsters University, staring all your favorites from the classic Monster’s Inc. Event will include light refreshments and giveaways. The movie is rated PG.
WHEN: Friday, September 20th starting at 6 pm
WHERE: Hermosa Beach Community Theatre- 710 Pier Ave. Hermosa Beach
DETAILS: Tickets are $10 for adults and $15 for kids and teens 17 and under. Visit Hermosa’s recreation site to purchase tickets.

Concerts in the Library: Andy Roy & the Route 66 Blues Band

WHAT: Part of the Concerts in the Library series, multi-talented instrumentalist Andy Roy intrigues the audience with improvised melodies and relatable lyrics.

Walk to End Alzheimer’s

WHAT: Help the fight against Alzheimer’s disease at this annual charity walk. Proceeds will contribute to Alzheimer’s care, support, and research.

WHERE: Pier Plaza & the Strand. Hermosa Beach
