Concerts in the Park: Blue Breeze Band

WHAT: Wrapping up Manhattan’s summer concert series, the Blue Breeze Band is ready to get the South Bay on the dance floor. The Blue Breeze Band is known for their renditions of classics from Mowtown, R&B, Soul, Jazz, and Blues. Members of the group have toured with stars like Smokey Robinson, Mary J. Blige, and The Temptations.
WHEN: Sunday, September 1st from 3:45 – 7 pm
WHERE: Polliwog Park Amphitheater- 1601 Manhattan Beach Boulevard, Manhattan Beach
DETAILS: This is a free event, but please be respectful of the park while you’re there and supervise children at all times. Parking can be a challenge, so carpooling or ridesharing is recommended. Don’t forget a picnic blanket or low-back chair!

Summer of Music Series: Dark Desert Highway

WHAT: The last of the concerts on the pier series is this Saturday. This weekend’s band, Dark Desert Highway, will share all your favorites by the Eagles. Hotel California, here we come!
WHEN: Saturday, August 31st from 6 – 8 pm
WHERE: The Redondo Beach Pier- 100 Fisherman’s Wharf, Redondo Beach
DETAILS: Concerts are held at the west side of the Pier behind Tony’s. Picnic blankets or low back beach chairs are welcome.

Terranea Summer Concert Series: Feed the Kitty

WHAT: If you don’t mind driving a little farther for music, Nelson’s restaurant at Terranea will continue hosting live music a bit longer. This Saturday’s performer will be Feed the Kitty, a premier LA-based cover band. Try a burger while you listen, and enjoy a sunset view while you’re at it!
WHEN: Saturday, August 31st from 6 -10 pm
WHERE: Nelson’s at Terranea- 100 Terranea Way, Rancho Palos Verdes
