South Bay Surf Series
WHAT: The South Bay Surf Series is a local family friendly amateur surf contest series. The surf contests are hosted by the South Bay Boardriders Club (a 501c3 nonprofit) with the goal of introducing and providing a platform where local residents can enjoy the fun and challenges of competitive surfing.
WHEN: Sunday, March 24th from 7 am – 3 pm
WHERE: South of Hermosa Beach Pier

Stroll the Sand
WHAT: Join the Sandpipers,a volunteer organization dedicated to serving the needs of the South Bay community, for their third annual Stroll the Strand. All ages are welcome to this family friendly two mile walk that benefits philanthropic programs in the South Bay. After the walk, participants are invited to a complimentary breakfast at Watermans restaurant.
WHEN: Sunday, March 24th from 8 – 10 am
WHERE: Walk begins at the Hermosa Beach Pier

Out of the Darkness: South Bay Campus Walk
WHAT: Walk alongside other South Bay locals in support of suicide prevention and remembrance of those struggling with mental health and depression. Hosted by the South Bay Association of School Psychologists with remarks from local city councilmen, the goal of the walk is to raise $10,000 to support the research and implementation of effective suicide prevention programs.
WHEN: Saturday, March 23rd from 8:30 am – 12 pm
WHERE: Torrance High School’s Upper Field- 2335 Plaza del Amo, Torrance

Goga in Gundo
WHAT: Goat yoga is becoming a local craze, and this time around there’s a fun surprise…BABY goats! Join the goats and an instructor for a morning GOGA session, complete with actual yoga, live goats, a bloody mary & mimosa bar, lite breakfast bites, and lots of fun.
WHEN: Saturday, March 23rd from 10 am – 12 pm
WHERE: Aloft El Segundo – 475 Pacific Coast Highway, El Segundo
