About Scot Nicol

Scot was born and raised in the South Bay of Los Angeles. He graduated from El Segundo High School then went on to get his bachelors degree from UCLA in Sociology. The South Bay is near and dear to his heart and El Segundo is where he and his family call home. He has worked in the Real Estate industry since 2006.

The key to any business is their willingness to give back to the community that gives to them. I’ve been a member of the El Segundo Kiwanis club for 15 years, a past president and current board member. We raise money for the children of El Segundo and beyond. We have sat on boards for the El Segundo Ed Foundation and volunteer for everything under the sun.

I was elected to the El Segundo city council in 2018 and I am passionate about my civic duties. I has worked in the Real Estate industry since 2006.

Share Your View of El Segundo

El Segundo is a place many of us call home. These streets hold a lot of memories for me having spent my youth here.

Wearing the Eagle uniform and representing this town in sports is something I am proud of. The idea was instilled in us early on that when you wear the name “El Segundo” on your chest you do not only represent yourself but all those who have come before you and all of those who call El Segundo home.

I am proud to say I am from El Segundo. I am proud to say my children are being raised here, and I am proud to be able to say that I get to serve and represent the people of El Segundo now as a Council person. We have an identity worth preserving in our small town. Meeting those wanting to live here and those choosing to move elsewhere puts me on the front lines, feeling the pulse of our town.

One of my favorite things about being a real estate agent is I get to hear all the wonderful reasons why people want to live here. We truly are lucky to be here in El Segundo.
