They liven up ESHS sporting events and now they’re on a mission to “spook” all of El Segundo in the 1st Annual TERROR ON MAIN Haunted House – a fundraiser for the El Segundo High School Marching Band and an experience for all ages.
The ESHS Marching Band Parents, along with the South Bay Music Association and other students and volunteers, are spearheading this event with the ESHS Marching Band chipping in to create a memorable experience for years to come.
Get SPOOKED While Supporting the ESHS Band
According to an ESHS Band parent Nicole Matulich, “we are constantly striving to bridge the gap in operational costs for our competitive band students and their march to the State Championships each year.”
According to Matulich, the ESHS Marching Band requires an annual contribution of approximately $100,000 to compete at the state level, most of which comes from parent donations.
The students would benefit from new uniforms/equipment/seasonal props, etc. According to Matulich, some of the schools the ESHS Marching Band competes against require more than $200,000 in fundraising each year.
October marks the beginning of competitions for the ESHS Marching Band so the timing couldn’t be better for the TERROR ON MAIN fundraiser.
Terror on Main Haunted House Details
From what we’ve been told, no stone will be left unturned for this years’ inaugural TERROR ON MAIN El Segundo Haunted House.

The TERROR ON MAIN will be a three-day Haunted House built, operated, and torn down by volunteers.
Over 100 ESHS Band Members, parents, and volunteers will invest more than 200 combined hours crafting 13 different rooms in a maze-like format – this year’s event will be held at the El Segundo Masonic Lodge on Main Street.
Guests will enter on Main Street, walk down the stairs to weave through the Haunted House in the Masonic Hall and exits into the parking lot where there will be additional fundraising and sponsor booths.

Saturday, 10/27/18
5-6pm Little Monsters Hour (10 and under)
6-10pm Brave Souls Only
Sunday, 10/28/18
4-5pm Little Monsters Hour (10 and under)
5-9pm Brave Souls Only
