The El Segundo Kiwanis club was founded in 1929 to better the lives of the children of El Segundo, and we have continued that tradition to this day. We are a service club made up of community members dedicated to raising funds that are donated back into our community.
What Does the Kiwanis Club do for El Segundo?
In the past year, the El Segundo Kiwanis has contributed to the children of our community through some of the following:
• $15,000 Donation to Ed! Foundation WEB Program
• $10,000 in Scholarships to El Segundo High and Arena High School Seniors
• The Annual Santa’s Sleigh Ride, in association with the Police Officers Association
• The 40th Annual Richmond Street Faire
• The Halloween Frolic Costume Contest
• The Annual Kiwanis Golf Tournament proceeds donated to the community
• The Good Guy Awards, honoring stand out members in our community
• Support for the ESHS Key Club, ESMS Builders Club, and DaVinci HS Key Club
• Community Holiday Dinner
• Donations to various community organizations such as Tree Musketeers, ES Friends of the Library, ES PoA and Firefighters Association
