Pumpkin season is in full swing, and there are plenty of options to pick out just the right one. Whether you prefer a local patch decked out with bouncy slides or you’d like to cut your own pumpkin right off the vine, we have the patch for you! Acosta Pumpkin Patch
Located in the South Bay Galleria parking lot, Acosta Pumpkin Patch offers has pumpkins of all sizes, crafts, train rides, jumpers/slides, and more.
This patch certainly isn’t the biggest on the list, but it’s one of the closest options for El Segundo residents.

Cottone and Sons Pumpkin Patch
For another South Bay pumpkin patch, Bob and Joanne host the Cottone and Sons patch every year.
The fun includes numerous jumpers, pony rides, a petting zoo, assorted fall crafts, and lots of pumpkins, of course!

Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch
Originally in Beverly Hills, this family-owned Los Angeles pumpkin patch year has now moved to Culver City. The attractions remain the same, including bounce houses, pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting, live entertainment, and food trucks. Mr. Bones is such a popular fall Los Angeles destination that visitors may even spot a celebrity or two!

Underwood Family Farms (eGundo.com Pick!)
Each October, Underwood Family Farms hosts its annual Fall Harvest Festival. Visitors can enjoy new events every weekend.
All month long, the farm boasts live music, animal shows, corn mazes, and pumpkins as far as the eye can see.

Live Oak Canyon Pumpkin Patch
For a more rustic, farm-themed retreat, try out Live Oak Canyon Ranch.
This patch offers u-pick patches, sunflower fields, a petting zoo, an aviary, and pony rides. Games and hayrides are available too!

Shawn’s Pumpkin Patch
Right in Culver City, Shawn’s is a local favorite. This festive pumpkin patch offers classic pumpkins as well as rare gourds to bring fall your home all season long. The patch includes bouncers, bungee jumping, pony rides, face painting, and more. To prep for your next pumpkin carving contest, Shawn’s also sells pumpkin carving kits and knives.

Forneris Farms
This farm claims to have the most beautiful pumpkin patch in all of LA County. Enjoy u-pick pumpkins at Forneris Farms Fall Harvest Festival.
The Festival includes a tractor-pulled train ride, corn maze, and a giant hay pyramid, in addition to a great pumpkin jumper and weekend pony rides.

Tanaka Farms
Tanaka Farms is out in Irvine, but this u-pick pumpkin is on the list for a reason. Open through Halloween, Tanaka Farms lets you pick your open pumpkin and other fresh veggies. An old-fashioned wagon ride will take you around the 30-acre farm, and kids can meet sheep, goats, and even alpacas! Better yet, they can experience the thrill of a pumpkin cannon.

Tapia Brothers Farms
Tapia Bros is already known for corn, tomatoes, and strawberries, and every October they open a fantastic pumpkin patch too. The farm stand lets families pick out fresh fruits and veggies, pick pumpkins off the vine, and try out crisp, roasted corn. They’re known for their giant pumpkin display and offer a handful of fun activities for the kids.

Pa’s Pumpkin Patch
More like a fair than a pumpkin patch, Pa’s offers festival favorites like booth games, rides, fun houses, and an enormous collection of pumpkins.
The harvest themed festival also includes a train ride, bounce houses, and face painting.

HOURS: 11 am – 9 pm weekdays, Saturday and Sunday 10 am – 9 pm

If you miss the October pumpkin patches or aren’t finished enjoying the fall festivities, Los Rios Rancho offers apple picking, pumpkin picking, and seasonal fruit through Thanksgiving.
The quaint farm also has a bakery, homemade jams and jellies, and free hard cider tasting for the grownups.
