Intro

eGundo.com’s mission is to explore the good in Gundo. And when you talk about good things, you have to talk about moms. Few words are as powerful and poignant as the word “motherhood”. Motherhood is beautiful, awe-inspiring, joyful…and really hard. Moms are selfless, often giving to their children even when it means setting their own wants and needs aside. Mother’s Day was months ago, but supporting mothers as they raise the next generation is a year round job.

In El Segundo, we are up to the task. The South Bay does a first-rate job of providing moms with the support and encouragement they need. From kids club at The Point to Happy Baby Yoga, our community provides a network for moms to connect, help their children thrive, and build a stronger, happier future.

The following are a few of the best classes for parents to share with their little ones in El Segundo and the surrounding area.

School of Dance and Music

310-546-7654
2417 N. Sepulveda
Manhattan Beach, 90266

A common frustration for parents of aspiring young dancers is that many classes are not flexible enough to cater to the unique needs of toddlers. The Manhattan School of Dance and Music offers a 30 minute class for little ones want to give dance a try with mommy alongside.

This allows kids to become familiar and comfortable with the class environment before moving on to an independent class. These classes are primarily ballet based with a little tap at the end.

Simple poses and basic routines are taught with help from parents. Manhattan Beach class sizes are limited to 7 students so little ones don’t get overwhelmed…a fun way to try out dance without the pressure of a more rigid class structure!
