Concerts in the Park: Hot August Night

WHAT: Listen to the best sounding Niel Diamond tribute band under the trees. Hot August Night, staring Dean Colley, is a crowd favorite at local concerts and festivals. Opening for them will be the teen band “The DropOffs”, performing a mix of R&B and alternative rock.
WHEN: Sunday, August 25th at 3:45 pm
WHERE: Polliwog Park Amphitheater- 1601 Manhattan Beach Boulevard, Manhattan Beach
DETAILS: Parking is limited, so carpooling or ridesharing is recommended. Picnics and low backed chairs are welcome at this event, but please be respectful of the park and dispose of trash responsibly. No pets, please!

Remember the Music Festival

WHAT: Enjoy live roots music featuring Sam Outlaw, plus food trucks, local craft beer, children’s activities, games, and more. The festival is organized by Betty’s Foundation, a non-profit focused on the benefit of music in Alzheimer’s patients. Proceeds of the event benefit Alzheimer’s disease research.
WHEN: Saturday, August 24th from 12 – 7 pm
WHERE: Ernie Howlett Park- 25851 Hawthorne Blvd, Rolling Hills Estates
DETAILS: This family-friendly event starts at $15 a person, plus $10 for VIP parking. Tickets are available on Eventbrite.
