As usual, the South Bay has several fun events coming up this weekend including today’s Kiwani’s Golf Tournament and free ice cream at the Creamistry Grand Opening in Redondo. In addition to our usual events, we have the opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate a poignant holiday: Veteran’s Day. This Veterans Day is the 100th Anniversary of Armistice Day, the end of World War 1, and the origin’s of Veterans Day. On Sunday, cities across the South Bay will host events to honor the men and women who have served our country, pay our respects to those who did not return, and support those who did.

Holiday Pumpkin Succulents Workshop
WHAT: “Create a one of a kind living centerpiece for your Thanksgiving table. Students will learn to arrange, care for and propagate a variety of succulents. This amazing succulent centerpiece can last up to 6 months! All materials and supplies to make a stunning succulent arrangement will be provided.”

Concerts at Redondo Performing Arts Center
WHAT: This weekend at Redondo Beach Performing Arts, choose from two concert experiences. On Saturday, That’s My Jam Live Event Concert is hosting a VIP Red Carpet Experience at 5pm. Our VIP Ticket holders will meet and greet with artist, take pictures, includes dinner and 1 drink. Artists include Howard Hewett, Lakeside, the Delphonics, and more. On Sunday, The Next Episode will showcase different artists who have appeared on the 6x NAACP Image Award winning documentary series, “Unsung, ” as well as special guest performers.
