Intro
Well, how was it? Who else stole a Reese’s cup or two from their kid’s candy haul? Never too early to teach them about taxes. After last night’s scramble for sweets, today’s significance delves a little deeper. November 1st marks the date of the annual Mexican holiday of Day of the Dead. Those who celebrate the holiday create colorful altars of flowers, photos, and gifts to encourage the spirits of lost family members to come back for a visit. This weekend’s fun includes a few ways to explore the holiday, plus a party on the pier, art events, and more!
